Unlock your mind and see the person that you can become.
Use your imagination and begin to do the extraordinary.
Think for yourself and discover the potentials inside you.

This 11 Year Old Entrepreneur Got Her Business Idea After She Was Stung By Bees

Meet Mikaila Ulmer , the 11 year old entrepreneur from Austin, Texas in the United States and founder of "Me & The Bees" lemonade. The young entrepreneur got the idea for her lemonade business after she was stung by bees.

Mikaila was stung by bees twice in one day when she was 4 years old while her mother, D'Andra, turned the scary experience into an insect research assignment for her daughter. In the course of her research, Mikaila learned that bees could possibly become extinct in the years to come. "And then it clicked!" she said. She decided to create a lemonade business and sweeten her lemonade with honey instead of sugar or artificial sweetener, which would be healthier, save the bees, and support beekeepers.

After securing $60,000 on the hit TV show "Shark Tank," last year, her lemonade will now be sold in 55 Whole Food stores, the world's leader in natural and organic foods. Mikaila, who started her lemonade business in 2009, said the operation takes organization, commitment and energy. "I work on the business after school, after I do my homework, and on weekends and during spring break. "

For Mikaila, her enterprise is an environmental and social mission. She donates a portion of the profits from the sale of her lemonade to local and international organizations that are trying to save the honeybees.

Today, Mikaila leads workshops on how to save the honeybees, and participates in social entrepreneurship panels. She said that when she first started her lemonade business, her friends were skeptical. "At first, they didn't believe me," she said. "Now I am helping my friends start their own businesses."

Self-Made Female Billionaire Zhou Quinfei's Story Will Inspire You

Zhou Quinfei is a 46 year old female Chinese entrepreneur and founder of touch screen maker, Lens Technology. Today the company has 32 factories in 7 different locations and employs more than 90,000 staff. Their glass is used in over 50% of all smartphones in the world, and in all Apple iWatches.

Last year, Quinfei listed her company on the stock market, making her the wealthiest self-made female billionaire in the world. Today she is worth $6.4 billion. Dr Ben Carson who shared this piece says, use Qunfei’s story as an inspiration for your own journey.  Here’s her 3 big steps to success as posted by Dr Carson:

Qunfei was born to a poor family in a tiny village in China. Her father was blinded in a factory accident, and her mum died when she was five. Determined to be successful, she quit school at 16 and went to live with her uncle saying "I don't want to die regretting what I didn't do.”

She got a factory job making watch faces for $1 a day, and sent the money back to her father.
Bored with the job, after 3 months she quit, but was given a promotion instead. Guessing why, she said “Maybe it was because my resignation letter was well written and this attracted the attention of the factory supervisor”.

She kept being promoted up to management but then in 1993, at 22 years old, her factory shut down. So she decided to take her knowledge, connections and $3,000 in savings and begin her own watch face factory, which she started next door to her old factory. The early days weren't easy: ”Twice I even had to sell my house in order to pay my employees salary. Much like climbing a mountain, it's not your physical strength that will get you to the top, but your tenacity and persistence."

Welcome To the Month of April

Happy new month everyone and welcome to the second quarter of 2016.
How has the year been so far? Great, Beautiful, Kind or not so good.
Have you achieved some of those things you set out to do this year?
Are you working hard enough to bring those dreams into reality.

It's indeed funny how time passes so fast, it is 3 months gone and 9 more to go. Take out time today to do some soul-searching, reflecting and make the rest of this year purposeful.
Cheers and have a blessed month.
