New Documentary Film Chronicles The Life Of Pakistani Teenager Malala Yousafzai

Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai is a leading advocate for children's rights and the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. The world turned its attention on her after she was shot by the Taliban for speaking out on girl's education. She emerged stronger from that season of her life and continues to be a voice and inspiration around the world.

"He Named Me Malala' is a 2015 American documentary film about her life. Mixing animation, family photos, interviews, and powerful video footage of Malala's life in Pakistan before and after the terrorizing reign of the Taliban, director Davis Guggenheim explores the extraordinary, almost seemingly preordained life of the 18-year-old education advocate.

The documentary delves into the unbreakable bond she shares with her influential former school teacher/activist father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, and how they, along with the rest of their family, adjust to their new found fame and life in Birmingham, England
