Revealed!!! The Navy Seal Who Shot Osama Bin Laden

The Navy Seal who pulled the trigger that killed Osama Bin Laden has revealed his identity. He is Rob O'Neill, 38 year old former member of SEAL Team 6 known for  one of the world's most famous operations.  O'Neill was also the lead jumper on the Maersk Alabama, the ship taken over by Somali pirates, whose rescue turned into the Oscar-winning movie Captain Phillips.

O'Neill was personally congratulated for killing Osama Bin Laden at close range with 3 shots to his forehead during the SEAL raid on Abbottobad, in Pakistan, on 2 May 2011.  He says his decision to speak out was prompted by losing some of his military benefits by quitting the SEALs after 16 years rather than staying for a full 20 years of service.

However his decision to speak is stirring up controversy. In a letter to past and present SEALs, Force Master Chief Michael. Magaraci and commander Rear Adm. Brian Losey, made it clear that the vow of silence remains one of the most important tenets of SEAL life.'A critical tenant (sic) of our Ethos is 'I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor seek recognition for my actions.' Magaraci and Losey wrote.

O’Neill has agreed to be interviewed on a Fox News special next week called 'The Man Who Killed Osama bin Laden. In it he will talk of his training, and detail the mission to take out the al Qaeda leader. He is also now a motivational speaker and translates his elite SEAL team training into high-impact, actionable insights on leadership, decision-making, operating in uncertain environments, and how to become the "best of the best". His mantra is “never quit,” and O’Neill believes this is the single most important factor in determining success.'
