9jaflave Soliloquy - Life is But a Mist That Will Surely Fade Away

Today many Nigerian radio lovers had their day and mood dampened by the passing of popular radio personality, Chaz B. He passed away this morning. While a lot of us this part of the world are still trying to come to terms with the sudden passing of Pastor and speaker, Dr Myles Monroe, then Chaz B too exits the world.

Chaz B was well  known and followed for his programme "sharing life issues" on Rhythm 93.7. The show which tackled many life issues was enlightening, educative, informative and inspiring. He was a great source of inspiration to many around the country. This series of events have really got me thinking. Why do people who still have so much to give in words, inspiration, encouragement and love have to leave this world suddenly? How come these people that have watered so many hearts and lives depart without saying goodbye? Why does their journey have to end when it looks like they just started?

Life is but a mist that will surely fade away someday. Today is the opportunity each and everyone of us has to make our lives count. As a wife, husband, child, worker, entrepreneur, pastor and individual, singer, entertainer, we all have this moment to impact humanity and our world. Life is but a mist that will fade away someday.

How well have you loved? How much have you cared? What value have you added. It may just be more time with your family or caring more for those who work for you. It may holding your wife more and telling her how much you appreciate her. It may be thanking your husband often for being a great husband and father. It maybe giving more time and resources to your parents. Whatever it is that you have to do, now is the time you have to do it. For life is but a mist that will surely fade away. But even though the mist fades away, its effect and impact can never be forgotten. Adieu our great fiends.
